Highlights since high school
Family, finance, philanthropy, and a good challenge.
- Went to UC Davis, Managerial Economics
- Moved to Bay Area after graduation and have been there ever since
- Married Frank Knifsend (met through friends. Frank grew up in Marin and went to Stanford/UCLA)
- Two children – Ethan (24, USC Class of 2025 C.S. and Business, minor in Cinematic Arts and now in L.A., consulting) and Sophia (20, UC Santa Barbara studying Economics and Applied Mathematics and Statistics)
- Enjoy cooking/baking, sports, being a mom, travel, philanthropy (especially working with kids)
- I love a good challenge every once in a while – I climbed and repelled 200 foot rock structures, hot air ballooned, triathalon, indoor skydiving and night dive in Belize
- Career wise, enjoyed working in Finance and overseeing G&A functions for publicly traded companies (doing earnings calls and dealing with the SEC). Got to travel frequently to Europe doing the biotech/pharma thing
