Highlights since high school
A career of helping others find their voice.
After Bullard graduation, I moved south to attend Biola University. It gave me a great foundation in my career and in my relationship with Christ. Once graduated, I married Alan Hultberg and continued my education in Speech Language Pathology at University of Redlands.
We then moved to Illinois for Alan to get his Ph.D. in New Testament. What a gift to receive an invitation to return to our alma mater, Biola, for him to teach. In Chicago, I worked as a speech-language pathologist (SLP) with adults who had neurological impairments, then took some time off to raise 4 amazing kids (Linnea, Johanna, David, Birgitta).
I re-entered the workforce as an SLP at Lowell Joint School District and enjoyed 19 years of supporting kids. Last year, I accepted a position at Biola to teach & supervise upcoming SLPs, which has been rewarding.
In my free time, I enjoy playing tennis, hiking, traveling, swimming, being involved at church, and spending time as a family and with friends. Through it all, we have seen so many occasions of God’s goodness and faithfulness in our lives. I give him thanks and all the glory!
